Background & History
With headquarters in Mumbai, Satguru’s Arts & Crafts Pvt Ltd has been one of the foremost destinations for ART & GIFTS in the retail industry, serving both the domestic and international sectors. Satguru’s is a privately held company and has been operating its retail stores in Mumbai since 1948.
Through the years our brand has been synonymous with luxury and quality. In the early years the company thrived as the Directors noticed the lack of artistic religious artwork and artifacts, such as, paintings / statues / murals / frames of Indian Gods/Goddesses in the Indian market and the untapped customer base that existed for these products both in India & overseas.
Our first store in Mumbai was opened in 1948 in the Fort, Flora Fountain area. Due to the success of custom framing and direct sales from the store and the Directors decisions to invest maximum earnings back into the company, the company purchased and opened its Linking Road store which is a massive 20,000 sq.ft showroom and is a Landmark , not just of Linking Road, but also of Mumbai City. Recently in April 2007, the company launched its 1st store outside Mumbai on the exclusive Bund Garden Rd area of Pune.

Satguru's – Looking Ahead
Satguru's is aggressively looking at expansion opportunities in major metropolitan cities in India, UAE and USA. The Satguru's - Pune store launched in 2007 has been recognized and greatly appreciated, this has encouraged us to broaden our outlook and venture out into other cities. Our newest store and first mall format store opened in December 2009 @ Goregaon East - Oberoi Mall.
Satguru's Arts and Crafts (P) Ltd. is also actively working on creating a superior, more premium and exclusive line of art products and paintings under the name of ‘Satguru's and Beyond’
Satguru's Arts and Crafts (P) Ltd. is also in the midst of talking to various venture capitalists and is looking at private equity as a financing option for our expansion activities.
