This ethnic wall art piece is a modern take to warli art where the artisans have used vegetable colors to paint on the clay pots; these pots are then put together in a wooden frame representing a hut/house which makes for a fresh colorful art form to adorn your walls.
Warli Art dates back to 2500 - 3000 BC was discovered on the state borders of Maharashtra and Gujurat. Practised mostly by the tribal people of the area (adivasis) this art tells a story using primarily three symbols - square, triangle and circles.
